The man in the shot is my future brother-in-law. The blond haired boy is my future nephew. This was taken in the pocono mountains with (gasp) color film. I was experimenting with my new Polorized lense...and I really love this shot. And since it's father's day...I figured it's appropriate as well.

BE THE BIG GERMAN.
When it comes to color...the polorized filter really makes a huge difference, especially in the blues. I highly recommend them. Only drawback...I find myself using slightly faster film because it tends to eat some light. Good for outside, bad for inside.

I was trying to get the sky to come out bluer than that. I should've given my filter another partial turn. But I guess it's not as bad as I had thought.
I wish I had done that with 400 film though. It's a bit too grainy for color IMHO.
