I've been trying to do more black and white lately. I fear I sorta got away from it when I stopped shooting film. So I'm still learning a lot about working with B&W on a digital camera.
Please offer your criticism and suggestions. This is a church, one of many, near my house. I just love how much ivy they have growing on this building. More of my work on Shutter Photo Comments
You really can't ask for more. I'm glad you did this in B&W. I'm sure it's gorgeous in color, but the play of light and shadow is incredible. It's a very ying-yang picture with light and dark, straight lines and amorphous shapes, and even texture versus flat coloring. Excellent. I'll have to make it a wallpaper.
